I actually know someone who is expecting. So, I’m hoping that the random baby name game will turn up some winners some time in the next eight months.
Baby boy: Oh no. The boy name today… Ebenezer! “From the Hebrew, ’stone of help’. Of course this name was made much more popular by Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Well, to be honest I do hope my friend does not name her baby Ebenezer (if he’s a boy). The meaning is nice but egad.
Baby girl: Jessie,from the Hebrew, yishai, ‘riches, a gift’ and that certainly is what a baby is but I still don’t love the name. Interesting that we got two with Hebrew meanings this week.
