This homemade baby food recipe is jam packed with great nutrients for your baby’s health.
You need:
1/4 cup canned organic pumpkin - make sure you don’t buy the kind with added pie seasoning!
1/2 cup organic broccoli florets - no long stems.
To do:
Steam your broccoli in the microwave or in a steamer on the stove top. Steam until soft and super bright green. Add the broccoli and pumpkin to your blender, a food processor, or food mill and blend together until smooth. You can leave it a bit thick for older babies, or add in some breast milk or formula to thin it for tiny babes.
Put some in a separate dish for your baby, and save the rest in the fridge for about two days, or freeze for up to a few months.
