Ok, maybe not really; at least not soon. However, if People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) had their way we might see this happen.

PETA recently sent a letter to Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, co-founders of Ben & Jerry’s Homemade Inc., asking them to replace the cow’s milk used in their ice cream with human breast milk. I have a feeling this won’t be a popular idea. Not that I’d be against it. Frankly, I don’t think cow’s milk is healthy for you, unless you happen to be a baby cow. Since my son and I are not baby cows, we drink soy milk.

I’m betting people will assume it’s just too weird to drink breast milk, and will ignore all other aspects of this topic. I imagine some will say, “What about screening for diseases, and drugs”, and so on. Here’s the thing though; dairy products are one of the most contaminated products on the market. A high percentage of chemicals, hormones, and toxins are found in traditional dairy products. If you have dairy in your house, you really need to make sure it’s organic, so you and your family can avoid unnecessary chemicals.
