Prenatal yoga is actually a very good exercise for your entire pregnancy, barring your health care provider making an exception.
Most women can handle yoga throughout their pregnancy though; just be sure to keep it safe:
Follow a professional prenatal yoga instructor.
Don’t attempt anything nutty - no inverted poses, upside down anything, or a posture that requires you to lie on your belly. Use common sense and you’ll be fine.
If you’d like to try a pose that you normally shouldn’t during pregnancy ask your instructor if there might be a way to modify the pose with a chair.
When I was pregnant, I read that any spinal twists were a bad idea also. And since doctors recommend not sleeping on your back when pregnant, I also modified savasana so that I laid on my side.
I was able to keep practicing until about the 7th month, always modifying to make room for the belly. Some people can do it longer, just depends on how you feel.
I am a prenatal yoga instructor and believe that pregnancy is an exceptional time for a woman to develop a yoga practice. Not only is it great for overall health and body awareness, it also brings mom and growing baby together, bonding them in a unique way.

If your family has a Wii you could get Wii fit…that actually has Yoga, it’s crazy (Then maybe you can get your husband or kids to do it with you)!
