Quick new mama tip: feel body positive to lose the baby weight
It is SO hard to feel positive about your belly, thighs, and even your face after you give birth. Not to mention that you’re leaking milk, sore, your hair is thinning out, and fitting into those pre-pregnancy jeans- hahahaha. Right.
However, there’s this recent study, that’s been all the rage everywhere you look, and it notes that people who feel more positive and accepting of their body, are the people most likely to eat well, exercise, and drop pounds. It may seem more realistic to feel like you’ll love you body more once you get the old you back, but trying to amp up the positive thoughts may help you to reach your post-pregnancy body goals faster than dwelling on all your current body problems.
If you need a pump up, just think about the fact that you just gave birth. That’s powerful stuff. Giving birth takes more body strength and personal fight than any old marathon or weight lifiting session does.
Need another pump up - get dressed. I know you just gave birth, it seems so much better to wear pjs, but getting dressed, doing your hair, and slapping on some lip gloss can help you feel more normal, more like yourself, and maybe even a little pretty. Think positive and you’ll win the baby fat battle.
